Professionalism and Experience
I have served as a proud Family and Consumer Sciences teacher for the past 16 years, working in both in person and the virtual setting. During my tenure, I have mentored, coached, and led school and state professional organizations. Through my professional presentations, I aim to retain educators by targeting topics that cause daily frustration and unnecessary stress.
Taking the Steps
I fill the gap by providing new and veteran teachers with a realistic toolkit to survive the start of the year that also helps them thrive later in their teaching careers. We are inundated by the typical PD opportunities regarding learning targets and student success. My goal is to provide educators the tools and confidence to build strength and longevity in their teaching careers.
